Christian Schools of many varieties were started throughout Canada in many communities led by dedicated individuals. These 20th century leaders deserve to be praised and remembered. In the spirit of Psalm 78, the later generation needs to celebrate these earlier deeds of faith. This needs to be done to honor the devotion to God’s Kingdom. It does not need to be done because these persons had interesting personalities or because the schools were perfect examples of christian virtue.
Nevertheless, the examples of dedicated perseverance are worthy of emulation in the 21st century, where many are now fearful of the possibility of successful Christian cultural engagement. Hence the Monarch Board and its friends would like to encourage community members to sift through their official and unofficial archives in search of PICTURES of these specific pioneers mentioned in the school histories.
